horse, jumping courses, refusing?
my mare, whos only 5, weve only tried 1m20 ive had her since end of december, and i dont wana push her too much as shes young, shes 16.2hh.
but i want to know if anyone elses horse is like this
say theres a water jump, and after warming her up i go into the arena then try the water jump, she might refuse it a couple times before going over it, as its scary looking. (she hardly ever refuses, but the odd time)
But say if i go into a course, she will sail over it like its nothing, you could honestly point her towards a 4ft high barbed wire fence with a lion under it and shell jump it.
anyone elses horse like this?
i love it, its like they go into a completley different mode, she loves it, and when she does a jump and i let her get fast after it she always lets out a huge buck, like shes feeling good
